Prof. Südhof is a Nobel Laureate in Physiology or Medicine, Professor of Molecular and Cellular Physiology, Professor of Neurology and Neurological Sciences, Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and Member of Child Health Research Institute at Stanford University. He is Academician of National Academy of Sciences, Member of Institute of Medicine, and Academician of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, awarded Kavli Prize in Neuroscience and Albert Lasker Award for Basic Medical Research.
Prof. Thiery is Honorary Scientist of French Academy of Sciences and Professor of National University of Singapore, Member of European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) and Member of Academy of Europe. He once served as Director of Department of Cell Biology at Institut Curie, and is now Director of Department of Biochemistry at National University of Singapore and Project Director of Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (IMCB).
